The MP-YP module in a nutshell
Have you ever gone into a room and then wondered what for? We all have. We’re human so our attention wanders and when that happens, so do mistakes. In operations systems that often means that defects are produced and time, money and resources are wasted. Worse still, if those defects get through to our customers they can mean a big dent in our reputation and the loss of future orders. Yet we persist in designing operations systems that demand superhuman powers of concentration to prevent mistakes from being made.
Wouldn’t it be great if there were a simple way of designing mistake-proof operations processes? The good news is that there is: it’s called poka yoke.
Using BHW’s one-day Poka Yoke workshop will help you to:
The aim and outcomes of the workshop
The aims of Mistake proof your processes are to provide you with a systematic, effective way to:
1. Identify opportunities for mistake proofing 2. Identify the root causes of mistakes 3. Design simple, effective, low cost methods of preventing mistakes from happening. 4. Implementing mistake proofing solutions.
After successfully completing the workshop participants will be able to:
Who MP-YP is for
