The Module in a nutshell
“The soft stuff is the hard stuff” – recognizing the need to change is one thing, getting others to participate positively is another. Getting the ‘soft stuff’ right is hard as anyone who has tried to change attitudes and behaviours knows only too well. This module tackles this subject head on. It starts from the position that, to transform processes through others, everyone has to begin thinking and behaving like a winner. Only then can they lead and motivate improvement project team members effectively.
This module deals with leading self and others to develop the attitudes and behaviours needed to make improvement a habit within the organization.
The aim and outcomes of Direct the transformation
The overall aim of this module is to provide participants with the knowledge and competence to:
Who Direct the transformation is for
Anyone who is acting as an agent of change will benefit from this module: executives and managers embarking on a transitional programme such as continuous improvement through lean or Six Sigma; business improvement agents; team leaders as part of their ‘day job’.
The course can be run in-house for groups of people, as part of the company’s improvement programme and can be focused to incorporate its ethos.
What’s in Direct the transformation?
The programme is both practical and experiential and is based on a “do-review-improve” loop. Delegates also get specific feedback on their strengths and development areas and use this to create a personal development plan.
